This blog is wonderful!!! I think it would be a great way to incorporate into the classroom. Not only does it show real pictures of real places, it also provides a ton of related information to share with students. I think this is an excellent idea for all teachers who take trips and can share with their students and the world!

After looking through this blog I am very impressed. There is so much information that can be used in the classroom, but makes this better is that the blogs is "realer" to the students as they would say. The reason being, because they students would actually be seeing people they know. The article that was attached was an interesting read. I really enjoyed reading how scores are going up everywhere.

What a fantastic blog!I really enjoyed looking through all of the pictures from your trip to Ireland and congratulations on receiving the Best Workshop Award. What an honor!
A blog like this could really be useful for educational purposes. Your students are given an opportunity to learn more about the topic as well as a bit about their teacher. Looking through photographs of a real place which were taken by a person they know who has been there does add, as Blaine pointed out, a sense that this is a real and relatable topic. I'll have to be sure to create such a blog if I ever go on a trip like this!
